One is in perfect condition with just a few areas of glaze loss commensurate with age but the other has a significant chip and crack on the rim as well as general areas of glaze loss

They have been newly upholstered in Colefax & Fowler 'Eaton Stripe' and are in full working, or rather sitting, order! Yes you really can sit on them, albeit I would suggest they are for the lighter person and only occasionally Just so pretty and decorative with lovely gilt bamboo detailing which is all completely original.
