Roy Minarai - Woodfired Oval 2 Bonsai Tree professionally styled by the BonsaiRoy Minarai is an award winning American ceramicist specializing in handmade bonsai and kusamono containers celebrated for their adventurous use of color and form. He came to ceramics in 2015 through his love of bonsai, teaching himself glaze chemistry and drawing early inspiration from contemporary Japanese potter Shigeru Fukuda ("Bushuan"), whose work descends from the legendary Heian Tofukuji. Every piece is slab built entirely by hand and finished
