This cylindrical bowl is more subtle in color than most of my colored porcelain pottery. The raised slip trail design creates a nice texture that can be felt with fingertips. The Paeonia anomala, or anomalous peony drawing, is slip trailed onto raw clay (greenware), using a wet clay (slip) through a syringe type applicator.
