and I only noted later that one was wound and caught - they're both the same length and in fine form

So many of the old portrait miniatures in these brass-backed mounts have been removed from

no cracks on the fabulous enamel portrait

This one came to us from Germany, our contact did not remove the lower shelf so you can imagine the size of the resulting package. Delivered to me via FedEx on a pallet :). A gorgeous piece though, thick & heavy old growth solid oak with a warm aged finish. I
