The whorl includes a sprinkling of real forget me not flowers and wild Elderflower blossom The hand turned shaft of this spindle was shaped as one with the whorl, resulting in superior balance. The whorl was created on the lathe from one of my own custom made resin blanks, not pre formed in a mould, so each and every one of our spindles has its own distinct shape,
