The silver on the brooch has turned black with patina in areas

The ring has a locket section in the rear

It has it's original inserts on one side

The item is fully hallmarked which is a nice touch, dating to 1893. It weighs approx. 6. 46g and the size dimensions are in the later photos. As far as I can tell the compass still functions which is rare, it may not be 100% accurate but it roughly works.
