The brooch is backed with brilliant blue shiny leather and we have edged both pips with colourful green and red beads

It seemed a shame not to try and give it a brand-new image so we attached it to a new backing with decorative threadwork and used tiny seed beads to embellish around the original brooch

Here we have a collection of nine old sequinned buttons which I have backed and embellished with small pastel coloured beads
