Crafted during the Napoleon III period, around 1860, it features three large central garnets with a 4 mm diameter. The reverse is delicately engraved with a floral pattern. The locket opens to reveal a glass partition, common in French lockets but difficult to find elsewhere. The locket has been recently repaired and closes
