Each piece is then sanded and smoothed by hand before being bisque fired in a kiln. The pieces are then hand painted with underglaze and or glaze, then fired a second or third time in the kiln. Pieces with 22k gold luster are fired again to adhere the thin layer of gold to the item. Each piece is hand assembled
