La Porte Saint Jean, Les Bouches Rouges 2023 VINTAGE:2023 one that I'm very muchPlace: Loire, France Grape: Cab Franc Vibe: Classic Formerly 'Les Pouches Rouge'. 100% Cabernet Franc from vineyards with more silt and sand. Half of the vines are over 70 years old, with a portion of younger vines in the blend. Vinified in concrete before 24 months of ageing in barrel, with a small proportion of new wood but mostly used. Really lovely balance between juicy fruit, tannin and that classic Cab Franc character. Like I said, the wines
