it's a piece for someone who likes a laugh and I enjoyed making it

with its stylish

but it's hard not to get swept up with the general excitement of The World Cup

We have strung it to a long necklace of dainty faceted black spinels and vintage seed beads

Vintage Belt Necklace Handbeaded I thought this pair ofEven though part of this delightful little vintage belt was missing and it was showing its age (aren't we all!), I couldn't help but bring it home to see if I could reinvent it somehow. I decided to make the original buckle the top of the necklace and each of the seven segments below has a pretty delicate stamped design possibly to imitate cut steel. I love the beautiful worn patina of greyish silver although it may well have been very much brighter
