The double-sided sign is suspended from the two iron mounting loops

There are some losses to the carving and gilding but this is relatively low considering the age and the whole still retains much original paint and probably the original velvet upholstery

though there is a chip to the banding on one jar measuring around 3cms

crude and primitive (but charming) old repairs and replacements to leather work

The white shimmering crystals of the marble can be seen through where there are small chips and losses with the rear foot having loss also
