Raised in seasonal Inuit hunting camps, Conlucy had an excellent understanding of arctic wildlife and traditional Inuit ways of life. He translated this knowledge into his carvings which deal with themes of hunting, animals, and camp life. His carvings have been featured in exhibitions in Canada
