The entire piece is covered in a colorful array of flowers & foliage, created with separate glass tesserae and raised against the white mosaic mat. We have a number of really fine mid late 1800s Italian micromosaic frames to list, each of which dates between c. 1860 1900, and would have been Grand Tour souvenirs to
