The standard crane platform is sized for compact DSLR bodies. If your camera is longer (camcorder style bodies, cinema cameras with matte boxes, etc.), this plate extends the mounting surface so the camera sits securely. Compatible with all Orion crane models that use the over slung platform (DVC210, DVC260, and DVC200 with the over slung upgrade kit).
