It is for the 8 year faithful service medal and it was awarded on 28 June 1941

The blade does show signs of the usual sharpening and there is some darkening (slight pitting) to the reverse

The cloth fabric is excellent. The fabric straps with silver flat wire, and the tan felt backing are in near excellent condition. These have aluminum fittings throughout. Notice the round buckles. The fittings are beautiful, brushed aluminum and retain the majority of their finish. The lower snap clips retain 65% of their finish. All of the snap clips
