Old Fitzwilliam Rip Saw – 26” - 5 1/2tpi (Beech) p4-nutcracker Rear of plane is markedA substantial old nibbed Fitzwilliam rip saw fitted with a hardwood handle. The handle has a medallion which says 'Taylor, Sheffield'. The blade etching on this old saw is marked 'Fitzwilliam, Sheffield, JT&S, Superior'. This maker is not in the British Saws from 1660 reference book. TPI: 5 1 2 Blade length: 26" Condition: the blade is straight, all teeth present, the saw would benefit from a sharpen, the handle has a split by the medallion, please
