These inserts have a tab that extends below the base with a slot cut out to be able to attach a lock

(This has happened one time when a two ton vessel had a collision with a dock)

but you can order any length you need depending on the number of inserts you need to accommodate

If you have 1 1/4 " rail you need 3 inch bolts
