The first firing consists of a layer of strips of glass that are fused to form a flat sheet. Subsequent firing fused the strips so they just tack on top and creates depth. The last firing adds the dichroic sparkling gems. This is mounted on a round brushed stainless steel plate that is ready for hanging. 12"
