It is a Nordic bowl form with tall rim with with a burnished clay sun symbol and reindeer on gold or green glazed background over burnished clay bottom with calligraphy. It holds 2. 5 quarts, and makes a wonderful festive food serving piece. It is also lovely with winter arrangements of greens.
