Autumn Colours, The Tea Rooms at Valley Gardens, Harrogate Scotland which was created in NovemberI painted this scene outside in the Valley Gardens, Harrogate just in front of the Magnesia Well Tea Room in glorious weather. I loved capturing the stunning array of Autumnal colours on the trees using layers of paint on top of paint. I firstly applied the background delicately in a myriad of colours using moss to dip into my acrylic paint. Then added the bushes after which I painted the trees using leaves and twigs to dip into the acrylic paint.
