Fine Antique French Opera Lorgnette in Tortoise Shell with Seed Pearl Monogram and Crown oak frame Dom Pérignon (1638–1715) was aElegant elongated handle lorgnette, opera glasses or reading glasses, this one has a crown monogram filled with seed pearls and is just gorgeous. The crown is that of a Viscount, though we do not have an ID of the person for whom it was originally made, the monogram is a bit tough to decipher. I can make it out as CcP, however.
