A Scarce British Antique Blue Ensign Union Jack Flag on Pole c.1925 sub-Rugs- Carpets & Textiles Julia Ward HoweOrigin: British Period: Early Twentieth Century Provenance: Unknown Date: c. 1920 35 Length: 50. 5 inches (Pole) Flag: 32 x 17 inches The soft thin cotton blue ensign flag having a dark blue field with Union flag in he upper canton, dating to the first quarter of the twentieth century, mounted on a wooden pole terminating in a silver painted finial. The textile is in good aged, as found, condition with a beautiful genuine fade across the fabric,
