Short after decantation this seemed light in its aromatic profil, especially after the Pegau 2000. But it reveals more power with time and more on the palate than in the nose. On the nose morello, red currants, hints of honey and rosehips. The palate shows a grippy structure with ripe tannin and high acidity more akin to a pinot noir and great lenght. In fact the acidity carries the fruit over a long period
