SOLD 2008 Pedestal Round Side Table, Model 16OTR by Eero Saarinen for Knoll Aluminum, Marble, Powdercoat, Fiberboard Lighting The wood for these piecesThis is a Tulip Pedestal Side Table, Model 16OTR, initially designed in 1956 by Eero Saarinen for Knoll. This particular piece was produced in Italy in 2008. The base is formed of molded cast aluminum which is powder coated in a white satin finish. Its top is made of white marble over medium density fiberboard. The top is finished with a beveled edge, giving the piece its iconic side profile. The Knoll stamp is present on the bottom of the aluminum
