這件蝴蝶擺飾約為20世紀晚期作品，以透明水晶玻璃製成。蝶翼由多片切割玻璃組成，在光線下呈現清澈而細碎的折射；細長金屬觸鬚與底部小座則讓整件物品在輕盈之中保有穩定的姿態。

銀質主體經整理拋光後，呈現明亮而清晰的冷光。鏤空結構如一道開放的銀色邊界，既有幾何秩序，也保留流動感；而中央青金石雖然小巧，卻成為整件作品的視覺核心，使銀的光澤不只是明亮，而多了一點深藍色的沉靜。
