Ultramundo Lamparillo Mezcal, Durango, Mexico Red Rhone full-bodied dry Riesling from theUltramundo Lamparillo Mezcal is a rare and highly distinctive expression of Agave asperrima, known locally as Lamparillo, harvested from the rugged Zona del Silencio in Durango, Mexico. Produced from wild agave that can take up to two decades to mature, the spirit is traditionally roasted in underground earthen ovens and distilled in small batches, resulting in a beautifully complex mezcal with notes of desert herbs, green pepper, citrus, pine,
