Its maps are famous for their bordering panels of national characters in local costume and panoramic views depicting the areas of major towns and cities

but the Inca leadership encouraged the worship of Inti – their sun god – and imposed its sovereignty above other cults such as that of Pachamama

forming the whole into a new sovereign principality of the Dombes
