A strong entry of plum and cocoa encrusted roast are followed by firm and eventful tannins. This is a big wine and would do well with some time to unwind; but it is queued up to be a showstopper. The finish is massive and absolute with dark chocolate covered cherries; stewed plums; and Cuban cigars.
