These vineyards are south south west facing, and slightly less steep than the Graacher Himmelreich ones. This results in less sun in the morning and more sun in the evenings. The slope gradient is 21. 8 26 degrees with an elevation of 150 to 325 metres. JJ Prum is one of two growers who works in this Grosse Lage area. The wines are usually slightly lighter in taste
