Instead of capturing the image in a symmetrical manner

In the winter of 2008 I was at Glacier National Park photographing and enjoying the scenery

I headed to the Colorado State Capitol for a tour over the lunch hour

I headed towards Union Station to photograph the accumulating wet snow

The area was filled with people sledding on the fresh snow

It is possible to frame the building through the columns within the park which to me blends in the common architecture style of both of the buildings. The look from this location can differ depending on the time of year as well as the weather so it is always a view I check when walking through the park.
