With cold temperatures and overcast skies I went looking for an image leading me up Lookout Mountain from Golden

I found a spot which showed the stacks well and let them go to shadow as I also zoomed out a little to capture a large portion of sky

Passing through the Clouds Building With cold temperatures and overcastAs I departed Seattle on a flight back to Denver I knew we would be climbing through the clouds a few minutes after takeoff based on my inbound flight a few hours earlier. As we were making our way higher I had my phone ready to see what the conditions were like on top of clouds during the late afternoon. With the low amount of light once we passed through I was able to capture a few images with a longer shutter speed. This is a one second exposure
