This image was taken as the Cyclone heads past me into the Colorado sunset on a nice last summer evening

Connecting the Commons Park area of the city with Lower Downtown is the Denver Millennium Bridge

From a distance I spotted a tree which looked interesting in its location and when I got there found the fresh snow surrounding the area which I photographed and created this image

While most everything was taking place in committees and not on the House or Senate floor it was still nice to take a peek inside

Even today months after the lake was drained there are still people out with metal detectors looking for treasure

Denver Evening from City Park Building This image was taken asUpon landing back in Denver it appeared the clouds were lining up for a dramatic sunset in the mile high city. As I was driving home I was thinking about a couple of locations to take advantage of this light and came up with City Park due to time concerns. About a half hour prior to sunset everything was still looking great in the sky and as I quickly stopped home they mentioned it on the early news that it could be a colorful sunset once again.
