This was a common site along the seawall most mornings

Using a small aperture

With the end of Daylight Saving Time this weekend this is a great time of year for evening photography and with that I headed out towards the airport area with my camera

For this image I used a shallower depth of field which puts the village slightly out of focus the further it gets towards the water and onward towards points unknown

First stop was photographing the skyline across the lake with a steady breeze blowing

Evening Along Vancouver Island Reflection This was a common siteAs the Malaspina navigated the Inside Passage I took the opportunity to explore with some different types of photography. As the sun went down I headed to the front of the ship and took some long exposures as we sailed along Vancouver Island. Using the railing as a steady surface the land around allowed a hint of motion as we turned through the waterways of the passage.
