So on an evening where there were clear skies I headed out to photograph

I was watching the weather in the days leading up to the new year and it appeared the weather which brought a light dusting of snow on the last morning of 2012 would move on and clearing would start overnight

Those times the clouds roll into Juneau it does become interesting looking at the mountains around town

I headed to the other side of Alameda near Grand Harbor and photographed the harbor with Oakland in the distance

For this photograph I wanted to get a perspective not normally obtained and searched for some snow across the street in Civic Center Park. By being low to the ground the footprints leading towards the building became my central focus to place the
