there was plenty of ice in the area in front of the glacier as our boat slowly made its way around the area giving us view of the glacier

Years later I have started looking at some images I have taken in the past and how they would work in black and white

This image is looking at one of the transitions from the harbor to downtown and then onward to Douglas Island on a quiet November day in Juneau

It was a much different day in the Denver area today then yesterday

I started off by exploring the area away from the Gastineau Channel and then headed back towards the parking lot along the water

Mountains through the Clouds Matted:11"x14" there was plenty of iceAs the airplane descended through the clouds it provided an interesting view over the mountains just outside of Boise. As we skimmed through the bottom of the clouds it provided a fog like view of the terrain below. As we moved through the sky I watched for interesting changes in the landscape and started taking some pictures over a small duration of time until we made our way into clear skies and final approach to the airport.
