For the first morning of 2014 I headed out to photograph the skyline of Denver as I have done the past couple of years

but that is part of the fun of the project in dealing with the elements presented to you each day and finding something to photograph which you are proud to post to the blog each day

During the equinox there had been smoke from fires in the west as well as some much needed rain in Denver

As this took place I continued to photograph the light rays make their way through the buildings and leaving a mark on the side of the Centurylink building

With this in mind I headed to Washington Park in Denver to photograph a tree which I have been photographed for the past few years

With some delays along the way on the project the day the first concrete was poured brought some excitement to the businesses and neighbors in the area. With this pour of concrete they covered just over a block, but the rest of the project soon fell into place,
