亀甲文様は平安時代には貴族、鎌倉時代には有力な武家のみが使用できた文様であったことから「強さ」「権威」の象徴とされています。

あえて日本的な色使いで染色し柄との調和を取った着物です。

熨斗は繋がりやおめでたいことが重なるという縁起の良い意味を持ちます。

エの文字のような形の霞を断続的に描いた文様で衣装の柄の間を区切る文様としてだけではなく途切れることのない柄であることから「永遠」を意味するとされています。
