Louis Boillot, Volnay Brouillards Vintage:2018 this is the only AmaroneA notably ripe and densely fruited nose flashes notes of both red and black cherry liqueurlike aromas that display additional breadth in the form of plum and spice nuances. The exceptionally rich, fleshy and concentrated flavors somehow manage to retain good delineation, all wrapped in a succulent yet notably firm finish. I like the power and punch this displays and despite the relatively firm tannic spine, this should drink well young. (90 93) 2026+
