Alaska State Museum Building During the summer of 2009

During the summer of 2009 I hiked to Jasper Lake in the Indian Peaks Wilderness Area

the magic of this location is discovered in a simple photograph

The Daniels & Fisher Tower was only a week before in holiday colors

As the blue skies started to move into the area I noticed the Alaska Airlines aircraft parked and captured this image

Setting up at dusk one evening in September I waited for traffic to pass by my spot on the side of the bridge

Alaska State Museum Building During the summer of 2009The new Alaska State Museum reopened in Juneau in 2016. While traveling to Juneau they were constructing the new building which I was able to watch grow from the ground up during my visits there. On a November day, I was walking past the museum and noticed the reflection being case from the glass windows in front. The majority of this image is glass which is reflecting the siding of the museum which is showing a little on the right of the frame,
