Snow has not been plentiful during the winter 2012/13

which starts at the northwest corner of Juneau International Airport

As Singapore is near the equator the length of golden hour or dusk is quite short and limits the amount of photographing you can do with the nice evening light

Once at the top of the hill there was a nice view of the village and onward to Scoresby Sound

but after a little while I moved to a longer exposure length and slowly moved the camera in a vertical direction which match the primary direction of the wood pilings

Art Hotel Reflection Size:24"x36" Snow has not been plentifulAs I was walking past the Art Hotel in the Golden Triangle area of Denver, I noticed the reflection of the hotel in the early morning light. History Colorado was providing the reflection of the building and I worked to find a perspective of whether or not to include the building in the image. For me including the building added perspective of size versus the close up of the reflection in this instance.
