A new year has begun and I took the opportunity to photograph the first sunrise of 2013 in Denver

Visiting Butchart Gardens in Victoria

but not before saying Welcome to Glacier National Park

Due to the proximity to Los Angeles

but the result in something which is almost three dimensional in look all created in-camera

New Years Day Morning in Denver Size:24"x36" A new year has begunFor the first morning of 2014 I headed out to photograph the skyline of Denver as I have done the past couple of years. This morning there was a system which was moving through which prevented a colorful sunrise as we have had the past couple of years. It was still nice to get out and watch the first morning of the year start with Denver as a backdrop. As I left the location some snowflakes were present as well.
