With the afternoon light

At this time some of the construction in the Union Station area had started near the Millennium Bridge

On the first court I found a leaf which was on the baseline and sort of on it's own versus some of the other compositions I looked into photographing

On my final day in Quebec City it was a nice clear day which allowed me to have a constant background but also position the sun to allow it to show just a little bit behind one of the umbrellas

Boats along the Charles River Size:8"x10" The glass reflecting the backgroundOn a summer morning in Boston I went for a walk along the Charles River. After crossing the Longfellow Bridge I walked along the north side by MIT when I noticed the colors on these small sailboats. With the morning calm the boats and their color reflected in the water as I used the edge to separate the image on a diagonal, bringing a little tension into the scene.
