Carved Marriage Bed Fascia Sideboard Note that as very carvingJiangsu, circa 1850 Made from beech wood and with intricate geometric patterns and carvings, this arch shaped panel once formed the front of a traditional Chinese four post marriage bed. It was saved as a single piece and today would make an unusual headboard, perhaps as a frame for a television, or just a wonderful, stand alone wall feature. The upper part of the panel is made up of intersecting patterns made from individually joined, mitred pieces
