With some traffic restrictions in the area I was able to have a little more flexibility with where I could stand on Lincoln Avenue to position the reflection in the ideal spot of the building mixing the branches of government into one image

I had a plan to head towards the lake

On the day I visited there was a little breeze which allowed the flags to move with the wind

Preparing for this at the western edge of the park I position myself close to where I felt the sun would be over the city when creating this image

Upon landing back in Denver it appeared the clouds were lining up for a dramatic sunset in the mile high city

Ice at South Sawyer Glacier Building With some traffic restrictions inOn the day I visited Tracy Arm and South Sawyer Glacier, there was plenty of ice in the area in front of the glacier as our boat slowly made its way around the area giving us view of the glacier. At this point instead of being on top of the boat where most people were viewing, I headed to the back which allowed me to get close to the water. From this perspective I am able to capture the ice in the picture and help tell the story of that day.
