however I pushed myself and got to the location just after sunset hoping to catch dusk over the city

I planned this for the whole day  and fortunately the weather cooperated as well for the image allowing for the day blue sky as a backdrop allowing me to capture the image as part of Thirty Days 2011

The last couple of days while driving along Speer Blvd I have noticed the changing leaves in the city with some of the trees already empty of leaves there are plenty of trees in peak color this fall

Once again I waited for the sun to rise and little and positioned it at the Four Seasons which is the middle of the skyline from this perspective

If you look carefully you can find some reminders of the Christmas season in the image on a nice evening late in the year.
