The intense and tautly muscular middle weight plus flavors are even more refined if perhaps not quite as mineral-driven while delivering superb length on the balanced but markedly austere finish where a touch of cherry pit emerges

with a chiseled frame of acidity and a chalky underpinning cloaked in a fine mousse that caresses the palate with its gossamer-like texture

Discreet though still easily perceptible wood surrounds the spicier aromas of red berries

but it should put on more weight when it reaches adolescence

There is plenty of Chablis typicity present in the form of notes of iodine, oyster shell and bright citrus where the latter element is also present on the racy, intense and nicely detailed middleweight flavors that exude a bracing salinity on the highly refreshing finale. This is an excellent example of the genre.
