Later that evening I visited the same location and captured the scene under a full moon with some of the twilight still apparent on the horizon

Frost on a Leaf Size:20"x30" I headed out to theAs I walked down a trail in Juneau in late fall, I looked down and noticed in an area the frost still on the leaves late into the day. It was a week of cold temperatures as the lake by Mendenhall Glacier had frozen over in just a couple of days. As I slowed down to check out the area I looked for some some full leaves to photograph and capture the frost as a first sign of winter in southeast Alaska.
