It was great to have my feet in the sand and enjoy the sun as it soon headed down with a small bit of color on that evening

As the first hints of light appeared I was halfway up Bear Lake Road and realized I would be stuck in the clouds

The area which I selected did not disappoint nor did the flow of traffic from multiple airlines at that time of night allowing for fine tuning of the process prior to the light disappearing

As I had a tilt-shift lens with me the majority of the images taken on the first of the two days was with this lens as shown in the image below

Flamingo in Chicago Size:11"x14" It was great to haveIn the plaza of the Federal buildings in Chicago is the Flamingo sculpture by Alexander Calder. This was the first time in many years I walked past this location and on this occasion the orange of the sculpture and the black background caught my attention. Instead of photographing the full piece, I chose the just photograph portions of the piece with the buildings filling the whole background.
