Fall at Steamboat Lake Size:16"x20" As the snow was falling

As the snow was falling I was moving so slightly to place the hands of them in a location on the building

Finding a nice composition was the task at hand which I could then position myself to include the sun into the scene as well

Initially I took some images of the scene

Visiting a salvage yard to photograph can be an interesting adventure

In the last week or so the fall colors around the Denver metro area have been peaking

Fall at Steamboat Lake Size:16"x20" As the snow was fallingOne autumn I was in the Steamboat Springs area and headed north towards Steamboat Lake State Park. As I got to the lake and saw the color towards Hahn's Peak I knew this was a place to stop and photograph. From the lake reflection, with a boat on it, to the fields across the lake with livestock all the way up Hahn's Peak with a hint of snowfall it was just a perfect scene that afternoon.
